| KCCI flays increase in power tariff - Aug 27, 2010 16:30:05 |
KARACHI: The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) flayed NEPRA for allowing an increase of 26 paisa per unit in power tariff, saying that the decision would multiply the floods’ negative impact on the Gross Domestic Product.
“The increase of 26 paisa per unit in power tariff would prove disastrous as the country is passing through the worst crisis with millions of people displaced,” said KCCI President Abdul Majid Haji Muhammad in a press statement on Wednesday.
